Strengthening Healthcare Preparedness Across the Tampa Bay Region
The Tampa Bay Health & Medical Preparedness Coalition brings healthcare organizations and preparedness partners together to strengthen the region’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.
Through collaboration, planning, training, exercises, and resource sharing, the coalition supports a coordinated approach to healthcare preparedness across West Central Florida.
WHO WE ARE
A Regional Partnership Built for Preparedness
The Tampa Bay HMPC is a regional healthcare preparedness coalition focused on strengthening coordination and response capabilities across the healthcare community.
Emergencies do not stop at organizational or jurisdictional boundaries. A hurricane, infectious disease outbreak, mass casualty incident, cyber incident, or other emergency can affect multiple healthcare organizations and communities at the same time.
The coalition provides a forum for healthcare and emergency preparedness partners to work together, share information, develop capabilities, and prepare for the challenges that can impact the region.
