Join us on September 10th to learn about the 15 ’til Surge Medical Surge Initiative, a facility-specific approach designed to strengthen hospital readiness for mass casualty incidents through training, planning, technical assistance, and full-scale exercises. The 15 ’til Surge initiative is funded by the Southern Regional Disaster Response System (SRDRS) and led by the Augusta University School of Public Health Disaster Health Sciences Collaborative (DHSC).
During the webinar, we will explore:
- Facility-Specific Training – MCI plan review, interactive tabletop exercises, facility walkthroughs, team development, and identification of preparedness gaps.
- Full-Scale Exercise Program – HSEEP-consistent exercise planning, customized evaluation, live patient actors, full hospital surge operations, and rapid after-action reporting.
- Program Implementation – How 15 ’til Surge is tailored to individual hospitals while evaluating pre-incident preparedness, activation, operations, external coordination, and recovery.
- Future Opportunities – Expansion of 15 ’til Surge through Train-the-Trainer programs designed for healthcare systems and healthcare coalitions.
