Building a Stronger Preparedness Network
The Pasco Health and Medical Preparedness Coalition is an association of organizations, government agencies, faith based organizations, individuals, and businesses with disaster planning and operational responsibilities or capabilities.
The coalition is dedicated to promoting a state of readiness and supporting response efforts to protect the health of Pasco County residents during catastrophic events, large scale disasters, and emergencies. Each member organization maintains its own identity and independence while closely collaborating with other member organizations to strengthen local preparedness and response.
Our Mission
Preparing Pasco County to Respond
The mission of the Pasco Health and Medical Preparedness Coalition is to enhance collaborative response efforts to disasters and emergencies by mobilizing local assets to meet community, county, and regional needs.
The coalition accomplishes this mission by coordinating education, assessment, and support services involving public health providers, private medical providers, public safety agencies, government officials, and other community partners.

The Pasco Health and Medical Preparedness Coalition focuses on building the partnerships, capabilities, and resources needed to promote readiness, strengthen coordinated response, and protect the health of Pasco County residents during emergencies.
Preparedness & Planning
Supporting education, assessment, and planning efforts that help local organizations prepare for catastrophic events, large scale disasters, and emergencies.
Response & Recovery
Supporting coordinated response efforts and mobilizing local assets to meet community, county, and regional needs during emergencies and disasters.
Community Coordination
Bringing together healthcare organizations, government agencies, faith based organizations, businesses, and community partners to strengthen collaboration and preparedness.
Health & Medical Readiness
Strengthening the capabilities of public health and private medical providers, public safety agencies, and other partners to protect the health of Pasco County residents.
Training Supports Stronger Response
Preparedness is not a one time event. Ongoing education, collaboration, and practice help healthcare organizations respond faster, recover more effectively, and better protect their communities during emergencies.
ONE REGIONAL NETWORK
Stronger Together Across Tampa Bay
The Tampa Bay Health & Medical Preparedness Coalition brings healthcare and emergency preparedness partners together across nine counties. Through collaboration, planning, training, and shared resources, the coalition works to strengthen preparedness and response throughout the region.
