SUMMARY:L-146 HSEEP: Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program Training Course (Pasco)
DESCRIPTION:Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) is a capabilities and performance-based exercise program that provides a standardized methodology and terminology for exercise design\, development\, conduct\, evaluation\, and improvement planning. Class activities include creating exercise documentation\, conducting exercise planning conferences and briefings\, and practicing exercise evaluation. Individuals involved in exercise design\, development\, conduct\, control\, evaluation\, and improvement planning are encouraged to attend. HSEEP is an interactive\, 24-hour long course that allows participants to share personal lessons learned while gaining practical experience. Certificates are now being issued by the FEMA Emergency Management Institute. Individuals that have previously taken HSEEP more than three years ago are also recommended to attend. Required Prerequisites: HSEEP is an intermediate-level course and participants should come with a basic understanding of exercise design\nPreRequisite  -120.a\n\nTHIS IS A 3 DAY COURSE BEGINNING JANUARY 11TH.

This is a great opportunity for current and future leadership in various local organizations to attain skills and scenario-based experience in the Incident Command System positions within an AHIMT atmosphere. For those not familiar with this training\, it is a 5-day course that will allow participants to fill positions within the AHIMT in simulated complex scenarios\, filling out ICS forms and IAPs\, communicating and collaborating with other positions\, and performing various briefings and meetings within the ICS “Planning P.” \nTarget Audience (including but not limited to): Public Safety (EM\, Fire\, EMS\, LE)\, Hospitals\, Public Health\, Infrastructure\, Transportation\, Dispatchers\, GIS/Mapping Specialists\, Finance Specialists\, Public Information Officers\, Intelligence\, Safety Officers\, Logistics Officers\, etc. \nPlease note that this course has limited space and should not be considered as simply a “nice to have.” Registration information is located on the flyer\, and only serious candidates that receive approval from their organizations should be registering for this course.
