This toolkit is intended to help organizations prepare for and manage situations with unpredictable or disruptive visitors. It includes detailed instructions, practical checklists, and scenario-based exercises to help employees respond effectively and safely. Using these resources, teams can improve their readiness, communication strategies, and ensure the safety of all those involved during such incidents. We also included a number of videos from the Texas Medical Liability Trust. Their scenario focuses on a patient encounter, but the themes are similar to those discussed in Volatile Visitor. These would work well with the Volatile Visitor exercise at your organization.
