This session will provide a practical, real-world approach to applying Incident Command System (ICS) principles in ambulatory care settings, with a focus on simplified implementation and operational decision-making
Participants will be introduced to an ambulatory-focused incident response framework and will explore how to apply these concepts during realistic operational disruptions.

- Applying ICS principles in outpatient and non-hospital environments
- Simplified incident response roles and responsibilities for ambulatory settings
- Communication and coordination with local healthcare partners and ESF-8
- Integrating incident command into existing emergency operations plans
- Common challenges and practical solutions for ambulatory providers
- Applying concepts through scenario-based discussion and real-world example
